1. Non-Refundable Deposit:
   • “A non-refundable deposit of 25% is required to secure the booking. This deposit will be applied to the total cost of the shoot.”
2. Cancellation by Client:
   • “If the client cancels the shoot more than 30 days before the scheduled date, the deposit will be forfeited, but no additional charges will apply.”
   • “If the client cancels the shoot within 3 days of the scheduled date, 50% of the total fee will be charged.”
3. Rescheduling:
   • “Clients may reschedule the shoot once without penalty if the request is made more than 30 days before the scheduled date. Additional rescheduling requests or those made within 30 days of the shoot may incur a rescheduling fee of 15% of the total fee.”
   • “The new date must be within 1 month of the original booking, subject to photographer availability.”
4. Refunds:
   • “Refunds for cancellations are at the discretion of the photographer. In cases where a refund is granted, it may be subject to an administration fee of 15%.”
   • “If a refund is provided, it will be issued within 30 business days of the cancellation.”
5. Force Majeure:
   • “In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of either party (such as natural disasters, illness, or government restrictions), both parties agree to reschedule the shoot at the earliest convenience. Deposits will be applied to the rescheduled date.”
6. Photographer Cancellation:
   • “If the photographer needs to cancel the shoot due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund of any payments made will be provided, or the client may choose to reschedule the shoot without penalty.”
7. Communication:
   • “All cancellations and rescheduling requests must be made in writing via email to info@mikesmediahouse.co.za. Verbal cancellations will not be accepted.”

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

3. Cancellations within 30 days of the shoot will result in a charge of 50% of the total fee.
4. Clients may reschedule the shoot once without penalty if requested more than 30 days before the shoot. Additional rescheduling requests or those made within 30 days may incur a rescheduling fee of 15%.
5. In the event of force majeure, both parties agree to reschedule at the earliest convenience, applying deposits to the new date.
6. If the photographer cancels, a full refund of payments will be provided, or the client may reschedule without penalty.
